Traditional Wedding Photography consists of carefully posed photographs of the key portions of your wedding prepared from a shot list given to the wedding photographers at the meeting one month before the your wedding.

Traditional Wedding Photography captures genuine expressions of relationships, and makes everyone look their best.

The traditional wedding photography service usually starts with photographs before the service at the bride's home with her bridesmaids and family.

 

Following the pictures of the bride and her family, the wedding photographers pose photographs of the groom, best man and ushers arriving at the church or venue and with his family, followed by the bride's arrival.

Traditional photographs are created during the wedding service including signing the register and walking down the aisle as man and wife.

After the service, the wedding party is posed for group shots followed by confetti throwing and the couple's departure in the wedding car.

Photographs of the arrival at the wedding reception and mock cake cutting/toasting are also usual entries on the shot list.

We would expect to take posed/informal romantic photographs at the wedding reception venue. Our photography usually finishes before the wedding breakfast begins, however some wedding couples prefer the wedding photographers to stay on for the speeches and first dance.

 

Traditional Wedding Photography ~ How it is Accomplished

About one month prior to the wedding service, the wedding couple meet with us to prepare a shot list.

At the wedding, Wedding Photography by Design's experienced wedding photographers interact with the guests to pose each shot.

The photographers will create as many photographs as given the opportunity, the shots will be what the wedding couple selected during the planning session.

All the photographs are provided in colour with the option of black and white, colour toned or Mike Gilmores' digital wedding artwork.
