Wedding Photography Art by Design

Wedding Photography by Design are masters at creating unique images from your wedding photography.

All wedding photographs are shot in colour. These colour wedding images may be tinted with sepia, tones, desaturated to create black and white images, or these methods may be combined to highlight specific areas of the photograph.

Portions of images may be blurred or a motion blur added to draw the viewers attention to the bride and groom. One or more images may be overlaid onto another, or a variety of edges added for interest.

ID: wpd04Mike Gilmore's digital wedding artwork can be fun and witty. One example is this image where groom and best man were posed for a picture at the wedding. Later, the colour photograph is desatururated, the hand and mobile phone extracted from another colour image are inserted into the picture of the men; and finally the original colour image of the men is inserted into the phone's screen.

ID: S2P7 These effects can be added to traditional or reportage / photojournalistic wedding photographs and are most effective in the wedding storybook pages that are skillfully designed and created in house.

This traditional colour picture of the wedding service is superimposed on the original image with Digital Wedding Art.

The couple's wedding rings overlay the top of the image and a film strip showing casual images of the wedding day is overlaid at the bottom of the image.

Mike has cropped in close on this picture using a narrow depth of field to throw the background out of focus. The original colour image has been desaturated. The groom's shades show a superimposed image of the groom's party which is sepia coloured.
